The Tri 8 conference championship for Cross Country happened on October 24th. There were 8 schools participating in the cross country meet on October 24th. There were 15 races for boys and 8 for girls. Green Level High School students faced two of the best teams in our county, Panther Creek and Green Hope. But still with all of the competition, people were very nice and showed great team spirit and Green Level got 7th place out of the 8 teams. The fastest speed for our school was 17 minutes and 17 seconds–setting a personal record for himself and the team was Alex Fernandez. 

Coach Grondziowski was really happy about Fernandez’s effort as well as the effort put in by the rest of the team. He praised the student times, which were consistently good. Cross Country runner, Mishko Horvat, told us that he had a good experience though it was difficult to maintain speed in the race.
