The first Green Level Art Market last Friday night was a huge success. Many amazing pieces ranging from paintings to jewelry made by students, teachers, professional artists were for sale and auction. The coffee shop atmosphere was topped off with solos by Green Level chorus students accompanied by Mr. Olsen on the piano. We asked soloist Alyson Springer about her favorite part of the night. She said, “I liked watching my classmates perform. It made me feel kind of like a proud mother. We have all worked on our solos for a long time and I really enjoyed seeing everyone’s work paid off.” 

Many students, teachers, and parents purchased art and donated to the Green Level Art Department. The Art Market raised more than $1500 in sales and donations. This goes towards music for the band and chorus classes, band and chorus uniforms, and materials for art classes. This year’s Art Market helped support our Art Programs.
