Green Level Womens Lacrosse celebrates the seniors and their parents

On Tuesday night your Gator’s Women’s lacrosse team set out to face the Apex Friendship Patriots for their first-ever senior night. The Patriots came in as a favorite but this did not stop the Gator energy in the air. This would be the last game of the season for the girls as they would not finish high enough in the SWAC conference for a playoff bid. However, the Gators wanted to come out and shock the world and knock off SWAC number 2. After the senior night festivities, it was time for the opening draw. The Patriots jumped out on top and the Gators could not claw back into the game. The Women’s lacrosse team ended with a tough loss but they will be back much stronger next year with a strong senior class on deck. The gators suffered a tough 7-17 loss.

We got to talk with Senior Katie Hunter and her reflection on her time with Green Level Women’s Lacrosse “Green Level Lacrosse has given me not only an opportunity to grow as a player and individual but also lifelong friends. I do not think I would be the lacrosse player and leader that I have become without the program and I will be forever grateful for that. I will always remember the opportunities that I got from being a Green Level lacrosse player and the many memories I have made. The legacy that we have started at Green Level will live on forever and I am proud that I was a part of it. ”

Good luck to our women’s lacrosse team as they finish their season and beyond.
