Green Level Softball Celebrates Senior Night!

Softball Seniors enjoy their senior night

M. Nereu, Staff Writer

On Wednesday, May 3rd, Green Level Women’s Softball played in their first ever Senior Night! While the game didn’t go as planned the girls had so much fun and the atmosphere was very energetic.

Seniors Madeline Ford, Mia Sullivan, Nia Spells, and Raegan Rudd were celebrated. They have all been on the team since their Sophomore year and have helped build our Softball program. I asked Freshman Ryan Baker what she has learned from them and she said:

“The Seniors have taught me how to be a great teammate and showed me that I should always take advantage of the time I have because Senior year comes so fast.”

Our Seniors have helped create a team atmosphere that will continue to carry on for years to come. Senior Nia Spells said that she is going to miss how fun the team was and Maddie Ford said she is going to miss the girls. They both agreed that while the season wasn’t what they wanted it to be it was still very fun and the team made it fun. Maddie said that the Senior Parents helped make the game more fun by creating chalk art of where each of them will be attending college. Maddie is headed to the University of Florida, Raegan is headed to App State along with Mia, and Nia is headed to Duke University.

Congratulations to all our Seniors and we wish them the best of luck as they head off to college!
