Micheal Tucker won the Gator Bait Bling for game against Apex Friendship

This is no surprise to the Gators but Michael Tucker has finally committed to Methodist University to play lacrosse. Micheal has been an important part of the men’s lacrosse team here at Green Level throughout his high school career.

Michael plays defense for the team here at Green Level and has thrived in that position. He had a great season last year, even earning the Gator Bait Bling for the game against Apex Friendship. No matter how he played, Michael always kept working hard to make sure that the team had their best shot at winning and he definitely helped them out a lot because the team finished 16-5 last season, putting them in third place in the SWAC. His hard work will be missed by the Gators lacrosse team but we know he will be no different in college.

I got the chance to talk to Michael about his commitment:

What was your commitment process like?

“I spent a lot of time meeting with coaches in person and just made sure that I picked the right school”

Has Methodist University always been your first choice or were there others?

“My top choices were definitely Methodist and William Peace. I just really liked both of the schools but I finally decided on Methodist”

What are you most excited about playing lacrosse in college?

“I am really excited to meet some new people and just play on the team”

Huge congratulations Michael and Go Monarchs!!
