Xzavion Lawton, A 16-year-old high school student who attended Millbrook died due to the shooting on a Halloween night, stated by the Wake County Public School System.

Lawton, along with two other teens that were also shot was immediately rushed to the hospital by the police, luckily the other two victims sustained only injuries and survived.

The next day following the shooting, Lawton’s parents received the devastating news regarding their son.

“Please keep him and all of those that have been impacted by this loss in your hearts and prayers…We want to honor Xzavion’s family and be respectful of their needs of privacy at this time.”

The police have not said anything about the shooter, but they speculate that the three victims knew them.
