Last Friday, the Green Level Dance Department hosted its biannual concert. The concert was titled “Storylines” and consisted of various dance genres relating to different books. Doors opened at 6:30 pm and became heavily packed with a delightful crowd! Tap duets, group performances, and solos kept our eyes glued to the stage as we watched the concert go on. 

Taylor Swift was a popular choice in song selections, with performances to “willow”, “‘tis the damn season”, and “Never Grow Up.” One standout performance was The Handmaid’s Tale choreographed by Claire Bishop. The senior dance started off reminiscent of the dancers’ first class with Coach Pope. Throughout the dance, we were able to see the individuals grow and face new challenges as they continue onto adulthood. The heartfelt dance made many audience members emotional. 

We are proud of all the dancers who participated and look forward to Mrs. Pope’s next concert!
