On Saturday night your Green Level Gators track team will be traveling to JDL fast track one final time this year to compete in the NCHSAA state Championship Meet. 17 athletes will be traveling to Winston Salem to run. The following athletes will be competing in the following events:

Girls 4×800 – Eliza Greengrass, Sadie Wortman, Samantha Petersen, Delaney Coleman
Boys 4×800 – Alex Fernandez, Advaith Cheruvu, Evan Hall, Jake Lominack
Girls 55 hurdles – Alexa Nestor, Chorley Truitt
Girls 1600 – Kaylie Dziedzina
Girls 1000 – Eliza Greengrass
Girls 3200 – Kaylie Dziedzina, Caroline Cornell
Boys 4×400 – Ye Liu, Matt Pickover, Brendan Klem, Jackson Spells
Girls Long Jump – Alexa Nestor
Girls High Jump – Alexa Nestor
Girls Pole Vault – Chorley Truitt

The highest-seeded Gator coming into the include Alexa Nestor who is seeded fifth in the 55m hurdles and looking to break her personal record in her final indoor running event. Along with her top 5 seed in the hurdles, she is seeded sixth in the high jump and long jump, recently committed to Kent State University Nestor is looking to impress once again.

This is the first state meet appearance for the boy’s 4×4 team in school history. they are seeded in one of the slower heats but they are hoping to make a splash and finish in the top 15.

The boys 4×800 relay team will be coming out to put on a show hoping for a solid finish this weekend as well.
