With the spring 2023 season starting on the 27th of February the boys are eager to get on the way. With 4 key members of the team such as Ben Hays, Cameron Hall, and lastly Kyle and Caden Covington leaving the team the amount of players have dropped to only 6 members and a new head coach this spring season will be interesting.

First member of the team I spoke with was sophomore Quin Covington.

How will the impact of the seniors leaving affect the team?

“They’re going to affect the team a lot because we had 4 seniors on the team last year and 2 of them were my brothers. this year we only have one so we definitely don’t have as much leadership.”

Next member I spoke with was Junior Peter Pucci.

Who will be the biggest competition in the conference?

“Green Level’s biggest competitor is definitely Green Hope. They got 2nd place in states last year and have a team with a lot of depth that will be very hard to beat.”

Last member I talked to was Sophomore Davis Hunter.

What will be done differently this year compared to last year?

“Last year we were not locked in and it showed in our scores so I believe this year we will be more serious about our scores and how we play.”
