Women’s Lacrosse Season Preview
With the season coming up fast, the women’s Green Level Lacrosse team is preparing to improve upon their season last year when they finished with a 5-10 overall record.
I asked senior captain, Riley McElreath, a few questions about the upcoming season:
How is the team looking compared to last year?
I think we’re definitely a lot younger, there are a lot more people trying out this year, but I think we’re all having a lot of fun.
How do you think this season is going to go?
I think we’re going to have a really competitive season, right there with all the other teams, especially in our conference and I think we’ll win a lot of games.
How do you feel going into your senior and last year?
It’s bittersweet because I know where I’m going to college and in some ways am ready to graduate but I’m not ready to leave all my friends and am not ready to not play lacrosse both in high school and with my sister anymore.
