Stunt Senior Night

On March 23rd, our Green Level Gators took on both Apex and Apex Friendship for their Senior Night here at the Swamp. They walked away with the win while celebrating their seniors.

From this year’s graduating class is Caroline White, Bella Cathell, Megan Scott, & Abby Triandiflo.

We interviewed Coach Mack about the senior night and here is what she had to say:

How do you feel about the seniors leaving after spending four years with them?

It’s gonna be really challenging to have these seniors leave, they are the backbone of our program and they have contributed a lot to both cheer and stunt. We do have a lot of talent coming up from underclassmen and rising freshmen but it will be really bittersweet to see the people who helped build this program move on. At the same time, I’m very excited to see what life has in store for them.

How do you think the season is going so far?

So far it’s great, there are three really challenging teams we play against, Athens, Friendship, and Apex. Last night we beat both Friendship and Apex, which is really exciting and I think we can hold on to our undefeated streak from last year.

How do you feel these seniors have grown the program over the last four years?

These seniors have been the people who created this program to make it what it is, they came in as freshmen, started off both cheer and stunt off strong. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are today because they had to step up as freshmen and take up the spots and leadership roles normally occupied by upperclassmen.

They have started out their 2023 season on a strong note, winning their first game of the season against the Cougars 17-7 on March 15th. They will further their season on March 29th at Middle Creek against the Imps.
