KSI has been a huge name in the realm of entertainment since 2009 when he began his career on YouTube playing and commentating on FIFA (A soccer video game). KSI is also a member of the Sidemen, a British YouTube channel known for gaming, challenges, and IRL videos. He then grew his support by creating more content and eventually became one of the most well-known faces on YouTube.
In 2022, KSI alongside Logan Paul created Prime, a Gatorade-like hydration drink. This company has seen its ups and downs but is still in business today and releasing new products. Then on September 16, 2024, Prime Hydration (KSI and Logan Paul’s company) and Feastables (Mr. Beast/ Jimmy Donaldson’s company) partnered up to create Lunchly, a Lunchables-style replacement for Lunchables themselves. There is not enough information yet to go into detail due to the recency of the release.
With KSI’s many business and entertainment adventures it makes sense for him to release something new every so often and that’s exactly what KSI just did. KSI started his music journey in 2015 with the release of Lamborghini featuring British rapper P. Money. This song would receive heavy backlash after its release but that didn’t stop KSI. He would release a number of songs to accompany his music career, the most popular being Lighter with Nathan Dawe in 2021 and Holiday also in 2021.
With all his music ventures it was only a matter of time until one broke the internet and for KSI it was his newest single Thick of It featuring Trippie Redd. The song was released just a week ago but has already spread like wildfire across the internet but not for the reason KSI had intended. The memes and posts about his new song quickly spread around and sparked new memes and posts until it eventually reached back to KSI who came out and asked why he was the target of all of it. The most notable is the top comment under the music video for the song, here it is, “Honestly, if it had a different beat, different melody, different lyrics, different sound effects, different artist, different theme, different message, and a different genre, it could’ve gone hard” Comments and memes just like this became the reason the song was blowing up and is still receiving attention because of it.
The question to leave you with today is, “Is this the start of KSI’s falloff?”
