This November, Moana 2 will be premiering in theaters across the country. This movie is a long-awaited sequel to the fan-favorite Moana. The original Moana came out on November 23, 2016, and has been a comfort movie for many Americans.
The original movie shows the main characters Maui and Moana set off on a dangerous adventure in order to save her island and the people of her tribe. They face many challenges along the way that make their journey harder than they anticipated. Maui teaches Moana the way of the ocean and this helps them develop a strong bond while on their small sailboat. They reach Te Fiti and restore the heart which saves Moana’s home.
The Moana soundtrack is full of many upbeat songs that are very popular and loved by everyone who watched the film. The soundtrack was so popular that it broke the record for the most weeks at the number-one spot on the Billboard Soundtrack chart. “How Far I’ll Go” and “Where You Are” are the two most popular songs from the movie and will be remembered as timeless hits.
The movie was originally made for kids but ended up being loved by people of all ages. Many people who loved the first movie are very excited to finally see the sequel. Student Rowan McElreath is one of the many Green Level students who are looking forward to the film
