Home dominance. That’s been the theme for the Girls’ Soccer team here at Green Level, and last night against Green Hope was no different. The Gators outplayed the Falcons on both sides of the ball, but their three goal scorers sealed the deal.
Stella Eckhart opened the scoring just 5 minutes into the first half with a beautiful cross to the middle from Hayes Wasdell. Jane Moore would make it 2-0 after an unfortunate bounce for the Falcons goalie would find its way to the back of the net. The Falcons would pull within one with 5 minutes left in the half.
The Gators would return after the half to add 3 more tallies by Jane Moore, Stella Eckhart, and Meridan Eiden and take home the 5-1 win. This is Green Level’s 4th consecutive home win, and they have all been by a margin of 3 or more. Green Level moves to 13-5 on the season and 9-3 in the SWAC.
