Last year, the talent show was a great success. People sang, danced, and even did magic tricks. This year, the Sophomore Class Student Government is hoping to make this Talent Show the best one yet.
Auditions are coming up next Thursday and Friday, October 15-16, in Ms. Craig’s room (1216) from 3:00-5:00 PM. Anyone can audition, but they must first fill out a Google form.
Sophomore class Vice President, Gideon Merakanapalli, said, “There’s a Google form, we’re putting that up on our social media. Please follow our social media for updates. Scan the Google form, and it’ll give you a specific date to come to auditions.”
The Sophomore class wants a variety of talents to audition, they could be funny ones, like stand-up comedy, improv, or juggling. They could also be more serious, like singing, reading poetry, or dancing.
Merakanapalli said, “We have all of the equipment needed for many talents, such as speakers and all that stuff.”
There is going to be free admission for going to the actual Talent Show, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any prizes.
Merakanapalli said, “The winner gets a $100 cash prize, that should be a big incentive.”
Make sure to scan the QR code on the advisory slides and Student Government social media to audition to be a part of an amazing talent show!
