Green Level is officially done with the fall sports season. It was a great first fall season at Green Level High School and now we are going to preview the first Winter sports season at Green Level. 

Winter sports at Green Level include Indoor Track, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, and Gymnastics. The season officially begins on Saturday, November 9th when Green Level gymnasts will take part in the State Championships at the Raleigh School of Gymnastics. The Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will play against Cary Academy for their first scrimmage of the season on Wednesday, November 13th here at Green Level. They will start their season against NC Science and Math on Wednesday, November 20th, also here at Green Level. Wrestling will start their season at Leesville.

Gianna Palange, who plays for the Women’s Varsity Basketball team, says that “I think we have a good chance of doing well this season.” When asked in what ways the team will excel above the rest of the teams she said, “I think on top of the overall skill of the team, the fact that most of the team can play in pretty much play any position will help us a lot throughout the season.”
