People around the world play a lot of games, most of these being video games. The 2 top consoles that are currently popular in the USA are Xbox and Playstation. Playstation (PS) is a Japanese gaming brand created by Sony that specializes in many games, handheld consoles, magazines, and services. Furthermore, PS has currently invented PS1, 2, 3 and 4. Next year they will be releasing the new PS5 with an impressive user interface and improvements to the console. According to techradar, not only is PlayStation creating a new gaming system, but so is Xbox who is releasing project Scarlett next year. This will set a new bar for power, speed, and performance. 

Xbox is an American gaming brand owned by Microsoft. Its latest console, the Xbox One X, is very powerful in specs and plays many titles in native 4K. Other older models made by Xbox are Xbox Original, Xbox 360 S & E, Xbox One and Xbox One S. Xbox also has live, gold, and game pass. Live and gold are used for people to play games with your friends online. game pass is used for people to play unlimited games for one month in the Xbox.

Even though the consoles may seem practically the same, there are some features where one has an advantage over the other and it is an overall preference of the user based on the type of games they like and the feel for gaming they have. But in our opinion, we think Xbox is better due to its extra features like Xbox live, gold, and game pass. According to wikipedia, there are 65 million players worldwide who use Xbox live. Also, Xbox can use Blu ray discs to watch movies, but PS doesn’t have this option. Also, the Xbox controller is really comfortable and the elite controller is a really good device to enhance your gameplay. Especially, with performance rivaling some of the gaming PC’s. So in our opinion, even though PS has some advantages we think Xbox is the best and has the best future.
