The Gators Eye does Gator of the Week for Gator’s of strong character, integrity, and kindness, but we have also started Athlete of the Week! Know someone who deserves to be Athlete of the Week for next time? Click here to recommend them. 

For the very first athlete of the week, we have someone who was recommended due to his phenomenal track record, Logan (Jinsung) Hur.  This is what his sister said about him: “I want to write about my brother Logan (Jinsung) Hur, more specifically about his track success. I think this is important as Logan is currently one of the best sophomore track athletes in North Carolina …. His stats in the 2020 season include running a 300m in 37.03 seconds (ranked 22nd out of all HS track athletes in North Carolina, and 128th Nationally in this category) and 55m in 6.70 seconds(ranked 19th out of all HS track athletes in North Carolina, and 108th Nationally in this category) both being really good. He hopes to accomplish as the season progresses.”

Our staff read these stats and definitely thought that Logan deserved to be Green Level’s first athlete of the week. Congrats, Logan!
