The Lady Gators playing hard.

The Gators Women’s Varsity Basketball Team made history when they played their first ever playoff against the Jordan Falcons’. The Falcons’ had a season record of 22-4, so the ladies knew they had to give everything they had.

The game started with the Gators getting the first points to take the lead, which they only had for a little bit. The Gators ended the first quarter down with a close score of 14-17. The girls did their best, but couldn’t stop Jordan and went into the next half down by 20 with a score of 23-43.

Then the girls knew it was time to put their game face on and matched the Falcons’ in scoring in the 3rd quarter but still were down 41-61. The girls did their best and even outscored Jordan in the 4th quarter, but still ended up losing to Jordan 55-73.

They played amazing considering they played a team with only 4 losses, and a first year school with only freshman and sophomores. The Women’s Varsity Basketball Team will hope to bounce back next season, and win even more games.
