As spring sports roll in action, lacrosse shines in its first wins.

Green Level has had so many firsts in academics, athletics, clubs, and everything else this year! Our school gets an opportunity to make history, and last week both our Women’s and Men’s Lacrosse team made it with their first-ever games.

On March 3rd, the Women’s Lacrosse Team had their 25 athletes step onto the field representing our lacrosse team for the first time. Even though the women’s team lost, Athletic Director Fegeley said, “It was a great game, they were toe and toe.”

Katie Hunter, a sophomore, scored Green Level High School’s first-ever women’s lacrosse goal! Peter Mucciaccio did the same for men’s.

Shortly after their first game, the Women’s and Men’s Lacrosse had their very first win in school history! The Women’s team finished with a score of 20-9 over Riverside, and the men’s score was 7-6

. We wish Green Level’s lacrosse teams a phenomenal season with many more great firsts for our Gators!
