Basketball: Women’s basketball took the win at Athens Drive 1/26 with a score of 42-34. Men’s JV and Varsity lost to Athens Drive with scores of 38-25 and 53-34 respectively. At home on 1/29, both the Men’s and Women’s teams took tough losses against Cary High School. Both teams will face Hillside High School at home on 2/2. JV Men’s will play at Hillside 2/1. 

Soccer: The Men’s Soccer team had two game cancellations last week, which were supposed to mark the beginning of their season. They will have their first official game Tuesday, February 2nd, versus Panther Creek.

Men’s Lacrosse: This week in Men’s Lacrosse here at Green Level, they had their first two games of the season cancelled. One was against Riverside, and the other was against Athens. Due to the snow, practice was cancelled on Thursday. In total, the team practiced 3 times this week and received game jerseys.

Women’s Lacrosse: The first matchup for Women’s lacrosse was supposed to be on 1/25, but erroneous weather has moved the start of the season back to Wednesday of next week for a matchup against the Green Hope Falcons. Watch NFHS Network to see the opening match.

Swimming/Driving: The GL Swimming & Diving team had their conference championship game on Thursday 1/28. Both the Men’s and Women’s teams finished in 4th place in the Tri-8 Conference showing major improvements from Year 1. Regionals will be up next.
