Today marks the first home conference game for the varsity soccer team. The Gators are taking on the 5-0-1 Middle Creek Mustangs. The Gators have very high hopes this year as Coach Solakaglu constantly reminds the team to aim for the SWAC championship as this year is the inaugural season for the newly created conference.

When I asked Ibrahim Dessouky if he thinks that the team is prepared for the game tonight, his confidence was clear, “Middle Creek is 5-1, but they haven’t had a challenging schedule so far, so I believe we have a really good chance of beating them. I think the score is going to be four or five to zero. It’s great to be back on the home field and playing competitively in conference games again.” It’s no secret that Ibrahim is confident in the Gator’s chances of getting their 5th win on Wednesday night.

Let’s see if the Gators can put their best foot forward tonight as they look to take the Mustangs down.
