Wrestling season is just around the corner with practices starting up these past couple weeks. This year will be the first that green level will have seniors wrestling. The team is looking to have some great wins this season and possibly some appearances at the regional and state level. With a lot of new people having joined the team this year, the gators are feeling confident about their upcoming season. This will be Mr. Degeeter’s third year as the head wrestling coach, and the team is putting in hard work.

I spoke with JJ Marino, a junior, to get an idea of how the upcoming wrestling season will look like. “I’m looking forward to wrestling this year, there are a lot of new guys and it will be fun to be an upperclassman this year and be on the leadership side of things. I think that we have a great season ahead and I’m really excited”

The gators can’t wait for wrestling to get started up.
