Today, Green Level Basketball takes on their first opponent of the season, in the form of the Research Triangle! This will be their first-ever season with a full class of students, meaning more experience, strength, and ability.  We were able to catch up with Senior Captain Tyler Coffee before the game, here is what he had to say…

How are you looking forward to your first full season?

“I’m excited, looking forward to being able to finish out my high school career, win a couple of games and make noise in the conference”

How do you think the game today will go?

“I think today will be the first varsity win”

How do you feel you’ve improved since last year?

“This year, we were able to get stronger with the weight room and people have gotten better over time as they’ve gotten older, and we have some good freshmen like Isaac”

Is there going to be nerves and how will you control them?

“There is obviously going to be nerves but we have to just keep our composure.”
