Some people say that the Christmas season starts at the beginning of November. Others say that it starts when the weather gets colder or after Thanksgiving. Either way, watching Christmas movies to get into the holiday spirit is a must! Here is a list of the top eight Christmas movies you should watch. 

  1. You, Me, and the Christmas Trees

Starring Danica McKellar, Benjamin Ayres, and Jason Hervey, this Hallmark Channel Christmas movie is about an arborist who falls in love with a farmer as she tries to save his trees before the town tree lighting. People who have watched it give it a solid 7 out of 10!

  1. The Great Christmas Switch

Starring Sarah Lind and Dillon Casey, this movie is about identical twins Bianca and Kaelynn trying to get away from their problems. Fans have rated this movie a 6 out of 10. 

  1. Blending Christmas 

This movie stars Haylie Duff, Jennifer Elise Cox, Susan Olsen, and more. It’s about a couple’s relationship that suffers as they try to get their bickering families to get along on a family vacation. 

  1. Home Sweet Home Alone

Starring Ellie Kemper, Devin Ratray, Aisling Bea, and Archie Yates, this comedy film is about a married couple that tries to steal back a valuable heirloom from a troublesome kid. 

  1. A Boy Called Christmas

Starring Henry Lawfull, Maggie Smith, Michiel Huisman, and Kristen Wiig, this fantasy movie is about an ordinary young boy named Nikolas who sets out on an adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves. He soon meets his destiny. You should definitely watch this! Fans rated this a 7 out of ten.

This adventure and comedy movie stars Cary Elwes, Brook Shields, and Vanessa Grasse and is a feel-good Netflix Christmas movie. The movie is about an author who journeys to Scotland, where she falls in love with a castle and the rest is history. 80% of the people who watched this liked it, so add it to your watchlist!

This comedy Christmas movie stars Jeremy Piven, Olivia-Mai Barrett, and Hadar Cats and is about a teenage girl who plays matchmaker for her widowed father during the Christmas season. 71% of Google users liked this movie so be sure to watch this beautiful movie!

Starring Dyllan Christopher, Tyler James Williams, and Gia Mantegna, this adventure comedy is about five stranded youths who take the opportunity of getting stuck in an airport to have some fun.
