Many students attended Styles’ concert in the Raleigh PNC Arena on October 12th. One of those students, was Alvarenga, “I’ve been a Harry stan since the 2011 One Direction Era. I heard ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and since then, me and my cousins have been on this ride.”

She traveled to cities including Nashville and Washington D.C., but notes that her favorite was the second night in New York City, also known as “HARRYWEEN N2” since the concert was on Halloween night, “A lot of people dressed up in costumes and he sang medicine, an unreleased song. And also did a cover of toxic!”
Alvarenga says One Direction was the boy band of Gen Z, “It’s no different from our generation, like NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block.”
