The Green Level Gator basketball teams had success last night against the Cary Imps. The Varsity Women’s basketball team won 58-28 last night in a rout. After the game all-star Madison Nereu commented on the win. “We started off a little slow … it was our first game in a week and a half, but then we got into the groove of things and he picked up where we left off.” The women’s team is now 16-2 following the win, competing for a SWAC title. The JV Women’s basketball team also caught a 40-19 win over the Imps as well. They are putting together an impressive season. (9-1, 7-0 in the SWAC)

The men’s basketball team put together a great performance last night to pick up their 10th win of the season. (10-8) This one was a big one for the basketball team as they lost to Cary in December by a score of 35-36. The win last night (43-39) put them right back into the middle of the playoff race with Cary and other teams. Their record is now 10-8 and they face Apex who is 11-8 today.
