Attention Gators! The 2019-2020 Reflections contest is seeking your submissions. This year’s theme is “A Look Within,” and the deadline for submissions is October 15th. Submit your entries to the bin in the Media Center. You can submit entries for dance, film, music, photography and visual art. The contest also has a Special Artist option which lets students with a disability enter a separate contest. 

The Reflections contest was started in 1969 and each year over 300,000 students participate in it yearly. You can move up through your district, region, council, state and finally, to the national level. The national winners are announced in May and featured at the National PTA’s Convention and Expo. This year’s convention and expo is from June 18th-21st 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Contestants are urged to think about what the theme, “A Look Within” means to them. Interpretations will vary, of course, and should be reflected in the individual submissions.
