Green Level gymnastics had their first meet of the season Saturday and finished second place! I interviewed Junior Gymnast Anna Palmer and asked her a few questions about the meet and the rest of the season.

How did the team perform Saturday?

We did well, we got second place and Ava Marie did exceptionally well. The team did good as a whole, we all contributed and did our parts.

What are your goals for the season?

To go to the conference meet and perform well at the rest of the meets for the season.

Do you think you have a shot at qualifying for the conference meet this year?
Yes, I think our team is already qualified to go, and I’m excited to face some really good competition.

What’s your mindset going into the next meet?

There are a lot of people on our team so each of us gets to do one or two meets this season, but I think our overall goal and mindset for the season is to beat Apex and work our hardest.
