Men’s Basketball Season Preview

The Green Level Men’s Basketball team is starting their fourth season in school history, hoping to make an even bigger name for themselves this year. Last year, the team had a good season, making the second round of playoffs but the whole team is hoping to go further this year.

We asked Junior Forward, Trey Manhertz, a few questions about the coming season.

What are your individual goals for this season?

To make all conference, to shoot a higher field goal percentage and average 2 more points than last season.

What are your goals for the team this season?

To win a home playoff game and be a higher seed in the conference.

What do you hope to build off of from last year?

Build more momentum, and get more respect from people.

What are you looking forward to the most this year?

All the away games, because away games are fun to play in…I love away games.

Throughout the upcoming season, our men’s team will be playing 22 regular season games. Each game will have a different student section theme, so go out and support our gators. Big rivalry games against Cary High School and Green Hope High School are a few to look forward to this season. The team is hoping for a good start to the season for an early clinch of a playoff birth.
