Gators suffered a tough loss to Cary 23-14 on Friday
The Green Level Gators and Cary Imps met at Cary High last Friday night to battle for an important in-conference win. After a bad start with Cary running back the opening kickoff, Green Level turned up their intensity to end the half with a 14-7 lead. The lead didn’t last too much longer as the Cary Imps shut out Green Level to end the game giving Green Level a 23-14 loss moving the Gators record to 1-3 and moving them down to 6th in the SWAC.
After the game, we got to talk to Luke Pagach (junior). “The game was a close one, and one we felt like we should of had, our team showed a lot of toughness and adversity. This game was a good lesson for us and we will fix up the mistakes for the rest of the season.”
The Gators will take on Middle Creek this Friday at Gator Stadium.
