Last week was a big one for the Cross Country Team at Green Level! The conference(SWAC) competitions took place on October 20th, and our very own Alex Fernandez was able to take home the men’s title! I talked to Alex about his keys to victory, and he said “I had to be strong mentally. I already knew I was physically prepared for the competition, I just had to prove it. Making sure I didn’t stop myself in the lead, and staying forward really helped.” Congratulations Alex! Alex hopes to win yet again in regionals, to help a fuel a solid states performance.
