It was recently announced that Green Level midfielder Braden Anghie was selected for the NCSCA All-State team! Braden is a senior here at Green Level, and has been on the team since the school’s inaugural 2019-2020 year.

We were able to catch up with Braden about what being selected means to him. In his response he took a big picture perspective, focusing on the school and the soccer program…

“It means that Green Level is on the map. I couldn’t of done it without the team and the coaching staff here.”

We also got to catch up with senior teammate Ethan Stole, to speak more on Braden’s ability as a player.

“Definitely a big stat that everyone can see are the assists. Sometimes those assists can be more valuable than goals, because he is setting others up.”

This award adds an exclamation mark to a fantastic season for the soccer program. The team battled into overtime against eventual champions New Hannover, and proved doubters wrong about the young program they have helped form.

Congratulations to Braden Anghie and the Green Level soccer program.
