GLISS is this Saturday!

The Green Level Indoor Season Showcase (also known as GLISS) takes place this Saturday, February 19th at Green Level High School. This showcase will encompass the work this season of the Green Level Band’s indoor section, which includes indoor percussion and winter guard. This is the first time Green Level has ever hosted a showcase of this magnitude, as more than 50 other groups of percussion, winds, and guards are coming to our school, which includes independent winter guards (not attached to a school).

This first performance is scheduled for 11 a.m, and the last performance ends at around 9:30 p.m, although the schedule is uncertain for now and is bound to change until the date before performances. Winds and percussion perform earlier in the day, whereas guards perform later into the evening. Tickets are $12.00 at the door. Concessions are available during the lunch break, and all performances are held in the main gym. Proceeds from this event will benefit every aspect of the band program at Green Level, including concert band, jazz band, and marching band! Check out more details about schedules and map flow at the Green Level Band website.
