So here are some shoe recommendations for you to style this fall!

  • First, Adidas is making a huge comeback, especially Sambas. Sambas can upscale an already casual look or dress-down a more elevated outfit.  Sambas are most popular in the classic black or white, but it’s fun to add a pop of a fall color with a dark green or red. Red is a big color of fall 2023, especially dark cherry red. Aside from Sambas, the Adidas Gazelles and Campus’ are trending from street style looks, to girly looks.

  • Sticking with sneakers, chunky “dad sneakers” from brands like Asic and New Balance are still in and ready to be worn. These sneakers can show your athletic side or bring a timeless factor to your casual outfits. Many styles of New Balance are big right now, especially the 550s. New Balance 550s go along perfect with the retro sneaker vibes that you see everywhere.

  • To finish off with some sneakers you should invest in, the Onitsuka Tigers. This is another low top shoe that aren’t as common right now but are destined to blow up this fall. They are set for mainstream especially because, Hailey Bieber and Kaya Gerber were seen wearing them recently. A popular color of this shoe is a bright yellow, which Hailey Bieber was seen wearing. Along with cherry red, bright 70s yellow is also a big color of fall this year. These shoes are perfect if you want to add a pop of bright color to your outfits and be ahead of the trends.

  • Next, another retro shoe that is making a comeback is the Birkenstock clogs. These shoes are perfect for casual and comfy clothes or just as an everyday shoe. These shoes were released in the 70s and are still a timeless addition to your shoe collection.

  • Now, to shift from casual to more fancier or dressed up shoe looks. The theme of the fall so far is low top shoes and flats. To go with the retro vibe, loafers are making a big comeback. Especially, Mary Janes. These are a classy addition to your wardrobe. People have been seen wearing these with anything from tights, to mini skirts. This rich, classy look can be achieved through ballet flats too. Believe it or not, ballet flats are now an admired chic and classic shoe that you can wear with pretty much any girly outfit. Ballet flats by Chanel are seen on runways and fashion icons.

  • If you aren’t into flats but still want to achieve the girly and dressed up look, knee boots are perfect for your outfits. Both wedges and stiletto heels are seen on boots that hit right below the knee. There are a few types of tall heels that are booming right now. First, kitten heel boots can be a lose or sock style with a skinny heel. They also come printed or in bright colors, especially in the deep cherry red. Second, biker boots are a more edgy option that are a big statement piece to your outfit. These boots really just style themselves but, are also seen worn with mini skirts to contradict the bulky boot. The last boot is a classic western style cowboy boot. Not only are cowboy boots trending, but you see that western flare on other boots as well.
