From the beginning of 2023, loads of movies have been released that have taken us by storm. However, there is still one month left in the year, and it has many iconic movies set to release.

Firstly, as the year comes to an end, some of the distinguished movies that were originally released in theaters are being released on streaming platforms for viewers to watch at home.

Barbie, the highest grossing in the box office this year, is set to release on Max on December 15th. The 3rd highest grossing, Oppenheimer, is set to release on Peacock soon, however a date has not yet been announced. The Hunger Games: Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes was just released in theaters, however it is set to be released sometime next year on Peacock. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is now available to rent on Prime Video for $20. A little pricey, but at least you can now watch it in the comfort of your own home!

Now for the movies that have been released, or are set to release in December!

  1. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, was released on December 1st. This is a documentary following Beyoncé on her most recent world tour.
  2. Wonka, was released in theaters on December 15th. This movie follows the beloved character from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, on his journey to becoming the world’s best chocolate maker.
