2025 is already coming to an end and you know what that means, it’s time for everybody’s Wrapped to come out. The 2025 Spotify Wrapped has already been released and right now it is the big buzz that everybody is talking about.
Your Spotify Wrapped is actually super cool, and it gives you a representation of how your year was. It shows what kind of music you listen to and your favorite artists from the past year. Most of the time your Spotify Wrapped is very accurate but sometimes not so much.
Olivia Lang is a sophomore and her top artist this year was Billie Eilish. She loves Billie Eilish so much and always listens to her, and she also goes to her concerts a ton so this was not a surprise to anybody.
“When I first opened Spotify Wrapped for this year and saw Billie Eilish on top I was not surprised at all. I always listen to her music and she is my favorite singer of all time so it made total sense.” Lang said.
Another student freshman Ryland McLaughlin always listens to rap music. Her favorite artist of all time is Drake so it was no surprise when that was her top artist on her Spotify wrap this year.
“I definitely agree that when I first saw my Spotify Wrapped my top artist made sense because I love Drake. He’s a very good artist and his music is amazing.” McLaughlin said.
Camryn Barnett is a junior and she also like Olivia loves Billie eilish for her it was a different scenario though. Camryn’s top artist was not in fact Billie Eilish but Tate McRae. She thought this must have been some sort of mistake because she loves Billie Eilish so much. But Tate McRae is also a good artist that she likes but just was surprised when she saw that it was her top person.
Camryn was not mad that Tate was her top artist instead of Billie but thought it should have been switched around. Sometimes Spotify Wrapped is not always what you wanted to be but you can only control what you like and what you listen to.
Spotify Wrapped is much bigger of a deal than you would expect for many people. Sometimes it is accurate, sometimes you want it to be something else, but overall it’s super fun to talk about and go over when your year is finished and it’s a super interesting topic with your friends to discover what your different music tastes are in comparison with each other.
