In his first book of the now 3 book series, “Stop at Nothing,” Michael Ledwidge crafts a suspenseful thriller that is both relentless and heart-pounding. The reader is immediately thrown into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, one that is full of surprising twists and turns that will keep you reading until the very last page.

Nelson Cruz, a former Army Ranger who is now a private investigator, is the main character of the novel. Nelson Cruz becomes caught up in a web of fraud, deceit, and dangerous secrets. Cruz is forced to make his way through a maze of power-hungry politicians, vicious criminals, and a covert organization prepared to do whatever it takes to advance its own interests when a typical missing person investigation takes a dark and perilous turn.

Ledwidge’s talent for developing vivid, three-dimensional characters is one of the novel “Stop at Nothing”‘s best points. Nelson Cruz is a flawed but likable protagonist who is motivated by a strong sense of justice and plagued by his past. Readers will find themselves rooting for him to succeed because of his tenacity and resourcefulness.

Fast-moving and captivating, with short, snappy chapters that keep the action moving, Ledwidge writes. The author effectively builds tension with each new chapter while weaving a complex storyline. Heart-pounding action scenes pepper the pages of the novel, keeping you on the edge of your seat and flipping the pages in anticipation of what will happen next.

Along with its exciting plot, “Stop at Nothing” also addresses contemporary issues including power abuse, political corruption, and the lengths some people will go to keep control. Ledwidge’s examination of these subjects gives the narrative depth and elevates it above the level of a simple thriller with lots of action.

The work does occasionally rely on cliches and predictable plot lines, albeit this is only a minor flaw. There are times when the reader can predict specific endings or character motivations, even while the novel generally still holds the reader’s attention. Ledwidge does, however, succeed in adding enough shocks and unexpected turns to maintain readers’ interest.

For those who enjoy action-packed thrillers, “Stop at Nothing” is a relentless and compelling read. This novel is a must-read for anyone looking for an adrenaline-fueled escape thanks to Ledwidge’s great storytelling, a fascinating protagonist, and a plot full of high-stakes drama. As you flip through the pages of this gripping book, get ready to lose sleep.

I am currently reading his 2nd book of this series and I cant seem to get my head out of the book. With its thrilling cliff hangers from chapter to chapter I have to keep going. I really recommend this series to any readers who love mystery and thrillers or anyone looking to change genres.
