Kid Cudi fans here at Green Level have something really exciting to look forward to tonight. Kid Cudi is having a concert at Coastal Credit Union at 6:30 PM tonight, May 12th, in Raleigh.
Since the concert is on a Tuesday, students with extracurriculars or sports are going to have to rush home and get ready to make the concert on time.
Some students in particular are Caed Lazar, Eli Schutte, Nic Armand, and Sully Nay on the Green Level Lacrosse team.
“I’m going to have to shower as fast as I can and get ready to go to the concert after practice,” Schutte said. “Some of my friends here at green level, Wyatt Stobert, Eli Beck, and green level alumni Miles Henderson are going to get there at 5:00PM and start a tailgate and I don’t want to miss out on anything.”
Miles Henderson is bringing a portable blackstone grill in his truck to bring and cook food at the tailgate with Wyatt and Eli.
“We are going all out for our tailgate since this is one of the only concerts all of our friends can go to this summer before we go our separate ways for college.” Said Eli Beck.
“Our tailgate is going to have cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, and hotdogs,” said Wyatt Stobert.
“I’m going to be in charge of the cheesesteak, Wyatt’s going to be in charge of the Burgers, and Eli is going to be in charge of the hot dogs,” Miles Henderson said. “We are also splitting the money that way, with each person buying what they are in charge of cooking.”
Students are getting ready listening to all their favorite Kid Cudi songs repeatedly to prepare themselves for the concert.
“I made a playlist of all Kid Cudi songs a couple weeks ago and keep listening to it every time I get in the car,” said Caed Lazar.
Green Level students and Alumni are excited to hear Kid Cudi’s biggest hits, their favorite songs, and see what the energy is like at Kid Cudi’s concert tonight.
“My favorite song is “Tequila Shots” by Kid Cudi, and I can’t wait to hear it live but I also can’t wait to hear “Pursuit of Happiness” because everyone knows those songs so everyone will be singing them.” Sully Nay said.
“My favorite song by Kid Cudi is “Just what I am”,” said Beck. “I bet it’s going to sound even better live.”
I really hope that Kid Cudi plays the song “Rockstar Knights” at his concert. It’s my favorite and I’m going to be so mad if he doesn’t.” Miles Henderson said.
You can still buy lawn tickets for Kid Cudi on Ticketmaster for $35 a person and $20 parking. The parking changed this year for the coastal credit union. Before paying for parking was optional and you only did it if you wanted a good spot, but starting in 2026 there is no free parking at Coastal Credit Union, and you have to pay to park anywhere.
If you’re going to be bored with nothing to do tonight, get your friends and buy that last second Kid Cudi concert ticket, and maybe even show up at the Green Level tailgate for some hotdogs, burgers, and cheese steak sandwiches.
