Green Level upset #2 seed Jordan to advance to the semi-finals of the Conference Tournament.

Our Women’s Soccer Team had their last conference game and home game this past Monday 4/19, where they battled against Panther Creek. The JV game was held at 4:30pm and lost by a score of 4-2 versus the Catamounts. Goal scorers include Freshman, Elle McGreevy, and Freshman, Livia Iacovelli.

The Varsity game following the JV game, was played at 6:30pm. Our Gators had a great game and many chances but weren’t able to finish any. By the end of the game, the Catamounts were able to get two goals in behind the net, resulting in a 0-2 loss.

On Tuesday 2/20, the JV team played against Panther Creek for the second time this week. It was a great game and our Gators got a total of three goals in the back of the Panther Creek net. The game resulted in a 3-3 tie.

The Conference Tournament began on Wednesday 4/21, where our Gators faced off against Jordan High School for the third time this season. They brought home the WIN, with a 2-0 victory. Sophomore, Olivia Zillmer scored both goals for the team. The first time they played Jordan they lost 3-0, the second time they improved but still lost by a score of 2-1. It was super exciting to see our Gators bring home the win for our soccer program.

As a result of the most recent win, the Gators have punched a ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament which will be held next Monday 4/26 against Green Hope. We wish them luck as our Gators continue to battle for a Conference Title.
