On Thursday night, The Gators carried the momentum from their underdog win against Pinecrest to defeat The Millbrook Wildcats. The game was never in The Wildcat’s favor with the Gators having their pedal to the medal the entire game, never giving Millbrook hope.

In the first quarter, the Gators came out strong and showed the Wildcats what the entire game was going to look like, putting up 10 goals and keeping The Wildcats to 0 goals. The second quarter was more of the same, although the Wildcats managed to put up one goal making the score going into the second half 13-1. The Gators did not want to give the Wildcats any hope in the next half, continuing to play well, only allowing one goal while putting up two of their own. The final quarter was a big one for Freshman Harrison Murray who got not only his first goal on varsity in this game, but also managed to get a hat trick. The final score of the game ended up being 17-2 another Gator victory!

Harrison Murray got player of the game, with his great 3 goals. When asked how scoring his first varsity goal felt, he responded, “It was a great experience and it was great to have the support of my teammates.” About the game on Thursday, he said, “The game last night went great and we had good team chemistry, resulting in an easy W”

Good game Gators and good luck Friday against Cary!
