In an interview with JR. Mathew Honaker, he was able to tell us about the meet and how he thinks it went for the Gators.

“I felt like the meet went as good as it could’ve, we were missing two of our best swimmers, but we had a lot of school spirit. Yearbook showed up and there was a ton of leadership from our captains.” Looking forward to the rest of the season, Honaker says, “I want to continue putting forth my best effort throughout the season and have fun…I think the team is doing a great job and we just need to keep supporting each other.”

On Thursday, December 15th, they will travel to TAC for the second meet of the week to take on the Holly Springs Golden Hawks, Apex Friendship Patriots, and Fuquay-Varina Bengals.

After this week, they are not scheduled to compete again until after winter break, on January 7th, where they will take on the Apex Friendship Patriots, Green Hope Falcons, and Panther Creek Catamounts. All of their conference meets are held at the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC), so be sure to go out and support the Gators!
